lease join us in welcoming two new staff members who have recently
joined your Association of Poinciana Villages team: Regan Glinton
and Liz Wargo!
Regan joins APV as our community’s first-ever
Director of Sponsorship Development and Liz will
serve as our new Lifestyles Director. Learn more
about both of these incredible new hires below.
Regan Glinton
was born and raised in a small
town in Oklahoma and later moved to Poinciana,
where she currently lives with her husband and their
two children. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations
from the University of Central Oklahoma, Regan embarked on a career
in the sales and nonprofit fields. Most recently, she was the Development
Director of a women’s shelter where she was responsible for obtaining
and retaining funding for the shelter.
Regan will use her depth of experience in grant writing, public
speaking, fundraising, and community outreach to help Poinciana
secure sponsorships to enhance our existing programs and activities and
create new opportunities. In the past, she has worked very closely with
community donors such as bank owners, foundations, local businesses
and churches.
Regan commented, “I’m thrilled to take on this new role for the
association and have great plans to expand this program. I pride myself
on building long-lasting, professional relationships and I’m excited to see
what the future brings for our amazing community.”
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA,
Liz Wargo
headed
south to sunny Florida after earning her bachelor’s
degree in Recreation Management. After working in
the hospitality industry for seven years for such high-
profile properties as the Four Seasons and the Omni
Hotels and Resorts, she transitioned into property
management and lifestyle programs.
Most recently, she served as the Lifestyle Manager and Activities Director
at the Overlook at Hamlin in Winter Garden, FL. In this role, she was
responsible for planning events, implementing lifestyle programming,

creating promotional materials and managing facility rentals, as well as
social media and website management.
Liz will combine her vast experience in hospitality and property
management to produce outstanding large-scale events and community
activities for everyone in Poinciana to enjoy. She commented, “I am
passionate about planning events and seeing them come to life.”
Event Preview
Speaking of APV’s Lifestyles Department, we have many events in the
works for this Spring and Summer. Here’s a sneak peek of what is
coming up:
• Adult Prom – May 11
• Community Workshop – May 21
• Memorial Day and Movie Under the Stars – May 24
• Fireworks Spectacular – June 29
Along with these exciting events, the APV Lifestyles Department is
planning summer kick off activities, crafting events, dances for adults and
children, kid’s bingo, movie nights, adult-focused events and much, much
